The Kansas City Chiefs have brought back inside linebacker Justin March from injured reserve. The team announced that they have cut defensive lineman David King to make room for March on the 53-man roster.

March is NOT expected to play on Sunday against the Chargers, according to Andy Reid. The Chiefs must be getting him ready for the playoffs. He will have had a few weeks of practice by that point but nothing helps like game reps.
He will be a nice addition to an inside linebacker group that has been through some transitions with the injuries to Derrick Johnson, Josh Mauga and March himself. The Chiefs played undrafted rookie Terrance Smith next to Ramik Wilson last week. March is a second-year player but seems to have good instincts and is around the ball a lot.
