This doesn’t sound like really bad news but it’s not ideal. Justin Houston will not practice for the Chiefs today as their preparation for the Broncos begins.
Justin Houston has some swelling in his knee and also won't practice today. Reid said it's normal and doesn't seemed concerned.

“He’s got some swelling on his knee,” Reid said. “We’ll get that taken care of. I don’t think it’s a big thing. This is what comes with the territory with where he’s at in the recovery of all this.”
I wonder if that knee bothered him last week because he didn’t record a sack against the Titans. Tennessee does have a pretty good offensive line and a couple of good tackles so it could just be that they won that day.
Houston missed a day of practice last week, too. This could be a thing where, like Tamba Hali, they’re managing it to keep him on the field on Sundays.
