It’s fair to say that Tyreek Hill is a lock for the Kansas City Chiefs Mack Lee Hill award given to the team’s top rookie. Tyreek has been the Chiefs big play highlight throughout the season and he’s moving up the Chiefs record books.
What separates Tyreek from other good rookie seasons is the scoring. He scores a lot. He has 10 touchdowns so far this season with two games to go. That is two touchdowns short of tying Abner Haynes for the Chiefs single season rookie scoring record of 12 touchdowns.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he ties the record. He’s had six touchdowns in his past four games and, despite last week’s lack of touches, has been a bigger part of the game plan in the second half of the season.
