NFL playoff scenarios: Chiefs could clinch playoff berth before they play Broncos

Like last week against the Titans, the Chiefs can clinch a playoff berth this weekend with a win. Beat the Broncos and the Chiefs are in. There is one other way the Chiefs can make it - a Ravens loss or tie. The Ravens play the Steelers in the game before the Chiefs on Christmas Day so the Chiefs will potentially clinch before they even play.

Either way, the Chiefs bigger goal remains a first round bye. That’s still in play. The Raiders are up a game on the Chiefs but the Chiefs hold the tiebreakers so KC just needs to tie Oakland by Week 17 to win the AFC West. Two weeks left...

The Patriots have already clinched the AFC East and a first round bye. The Chiefs are out of contention for the top AFC seed. They can however get the No. 2 seed. Oakland has clinched a playoff berth as well. Other than those two, no one has clinched ....
