Eric Berry is inspiring as hell, part 1,454.
The Kansas City Chiefs safety will be wearing purple ribbon cleats this weekend in honor of those fighting cancer as he did in the Atlanta area two years ago. This is part of the NFL’s cleats week where players can wear special cleats for their causes of choice.
This post comes via his agent Chad Speck:
This Sunday, for the first time in his 7 year career, Eric Berry will play a regular season game in front of his hometown area of Atlanta, GA. It's also the town where two years ago he battled cancer at Emory with family and friends by his side and so many others supporting him. It's fitting then that he will wear these purple ribbon cleats this week in Atlanta to honor all those fighting against cancer. "Fear nothing, attack everything." -Eric Berry #BerryStrong
I didn’t realize it but Berry has worn those cleats before. A Steelers beat writer tweeted this picture out before their Week 4 game in Pittsburgh.

Berry isn’t the only one to wear the special cleats, which the NFL is allowing for this week only. Travis Kelce will be wearing ones for his foundation.
It's #BRCleatWeek and renowned artist Mache is designing custom spikes for Travis Kelce. But can Mache get @tkelce his cleats on time? pic.twitter.com/aL5jE0aXFU
