Knile Davis kept in touch with Jamaal Charles, Chiefs backs

The Kansas City Chiefs traded Knile Davis to the Packers a few weeks ago but on Sunday Knile was back in the Chiefs backfield playing the Jaguars. He went from the Packers to getting cut by the Packers to the Jets to getting cut by the Jets and now back in Kansas City. There was even an audible roar of the crowd when Knile took his first carry.

“Yeah it made me feel like I was back at home,” Knile said via quotes from the Chiefs. “It was a good feeling.”

Knile had three carries for 10 yards and one catch for seven yards. He was active on Sunday over new signing Bishop Sankey.

“Those are my brothers, so I’ll always talk to them,” Knile said when asked who he kept in touch with during his time away. “I’d been keeping up with Jamaal and the rest of them. I know it’s a business so anything can happen. I was prepared for anything.”

This is a testament to being a pro, on both sides The Chiefs were complimentary when he left and Knile didn’t say anything negative either. It’s always good to keep your options open.
