The Kansas City Chiefs are bringing back Knile Davis. In two weeks he has been traded to the Packers, cut by the Packers, claimed by the Jets and cut by the Jets. Now he can add re-signed with the Chiefs to the list.
That’s not the only roster move:
Roster Moves: We signed Knile Davis and promoted David King to active roster.

Knile’s return is a slight surprise but it makes sense with Jamaal Charles and Spencer Ware out. The Chiefs needed another experienced back with new Chief Bishop Sankey as the only backup to Charcandrick West on Sunday and practice squad back Darrin Reaves banged up.
The Chiefs also promoted defensive lineman David King to the active roster. This makes me wonder about Jaye Howard’s availability on Sunday. He is questionable this week so King’s promotion could be an indication Howard won’t be at 100 percent if he plays.
Ehinger to IR was expected while Devey is waived a few days after the Chiefs added offensive lineman Mike Person to the active roster.
