Justin Houston was the best player on the field for the Chiefs against the Broncos

Andy Reid said Justin Houston was getting tired in the fourth quarter of last week’s game. Houston himself said he just needed a little more time.

I guess he meant just one more week.

Houston was a dominant force at times in the Chiefs 30-27 overtime win over the Broncos on Sunday night. He had three sacks and a safety which rightly are the headliners. He was dominating the right tackle (both of them) for stretches. He was strong against the run with repeated stops. He led the team with 10 tackles.

For these efforts, Houston graded out as the top defender in the game. Actually, the top overall player, according to PFF.
