The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. NBC’s Michele Tafoya went to Denver to talk with Broncos safety TJ Ward, who at times will be the one tasked with covering Travis Kelce.
Tafoya had an interesting stat that I hadn’t heard before:
Alex Smith has never thrown an interception on a pass intended for Travis Kelce.
Really? I didn’t know that. Alex doesn’t throw many interceptions so I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised but Kelce has been targeted 257 times since he’s been in Kansas City.
