Goodbye, Bishop Sankey, we hardly knew ye.
The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the release of running back Bishop Sankey. The team announced the move on Tuesday evening.

Not a shocker here. He was signed the week the Chiefs lost Spencer Ware to a concussion but they ended up getting Knile Davis back. That made Sankey expendable.
If they need another back this year they could look at Darrin Reaves on the practice squad. Most of us thought they would do that the week they signed Sankey but Reaves had been dealing with an injury. If he’s healthy, you gotta think he’s the pick next time.
