Broncos players wonder why the refs helped the Raiders last night

I don’t read tweets from Broncos players very often but a couple of them caught my eye after the Raiders win over the Texans on Monday Night Football.

One of the story lines this morning is that the refs gave the Raiders a couple of breaks. There was a play where it appeared DeAndre Hopkins stayed in bounds and was wide open for a touchdown but the refs called it back.

There was another play late in a tie game where it looked like the Texans picked up a first down on a run. They were ruled short and a replay review upheld the call.

Of course the refs weren’t actually on the Raiders side. If you they were, you gotta wonder how in the world the Raiders have been so bad for so long. A win next week and they will have their first winning season since I was in high school.
