With Jamaal Charles visiting Dr. James Andrews and Spencer Ware in the concussion protocol, the Kansas City Chiefs have signed running back Bishop Sankey. This according to his agent.
Congrats to @BishopSankey on signing with Kansas City! Great opportunity and very well deserved.

The 5’10 and 210 pound Sankey is a former 2014 second round pick by the Titans. He lasted two seasons there and was most recently on the Patriots practice squad. The Chiefs signing him off the Patriots practice squad means he’ll be here for at least three weeks (or get paid for three weeks). Check out his career stats here, 3.8 yards per carry in two seasons.
The Chiefs were down to just Charcandrick West until there’s clarity on Jamaal and Ware for this weekend’s game against the Jaguars. Darrin Reaves is on the practice squad and Knile Davis is now available after the Packers cut him. I guess this move signals perhaps they’re not looking at those two but we’ll see by this weekend.
