The Kansas City Chiefs inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts have been released and Jamaal Charles is the big name for the Chiefs. He will not play vs. the Colts because of knee issues. The Chiefs are taking this one day by day.
There aren’t any surprises on the Chiefs list of inactives. Starting CB DJ White was ruled out earlier in the week due to a hand fracture. Third TE Ross Travis appears to be the fourth tight end now that he’s inactive again. Sam Barrington was thought to be an inside linebacker candidate with Justin March’s season ending injury but he’s out.
Active is starting RT Mitch Schwartz and CB Phillip Gaines, who both should play. Schwartz hasn’t missed an offensive snap in his career so that streak appears to live today.
