The Kansas City Chiefs might be getting another corner back this week in Phillip Gaines but they’re losing another. The Chiefs say that rookie corner DJ White will not play in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts due to a fractured hand.

He played 59 snaps last week against the Saints so this is like losing a starter. The Chiefs are already young and inexperienced in the secondary but they could be getting one of their more experienced players back if Gaines can go.

The problem with Gaines is that the Chiefs can’t really count on him based on his injury history. So, yeah, the Chiefs need to hope that White is gone for a short period of time. Andy Reid left the door open for him returning after this weekend.
