Jeremy Maclin injured in Chiefs-Texans game, emotional on sidelines

Jeremy Maclin caught a short pass and as he turned up field he was hit and his leg seemed to twist in an odd direction. Trainers came out and tended to him for a minute before he went to the bench where cameras showed him emotional on the sidelines.

I did not like the look of that injury. Andy Reid said it was a knee strain and that an MRI would be coming but I wouldn't get your hopes up. The Chiefs are obviously hoping it's nothing serious and that he can return soon or even next week if the Chiefs end up beating the Texans.

Maclin has turned into the Chiefs No. 1 receiver. This would be a HUGE loss for the Chiefs. The criticism in signing him was that Smith wouldn't throw to receivers often enough but Maclin had a great season with 87 receptions for 1,088 yards and eight touchdowns.

Travis Kelce becomes the Chiefs most important weapon in the passing game with Maclin out.
