The Kansas City Chiefs director of football operations will be interviewing for the Tennessee Titans GM job, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Tennessee has requested and received permission for GM interviews with KC's Chris Ballard and Tampa Bay's Jon Robinson, per league source.

Ballard was reportedly courted by the Bucs two years ago and the Bears last year but ended up staying in Kansas City. He was given a promotion in May from director of player personnel to director of football operations.
Given the interest in him, it seems like only a matter of time until he leaves Kansas City. The Titans GM job looks like a good one because they have a quarterback they like and and the No. 1 pick in the draft. However, the roster didn't have any Pro Bowlers so there is plenty of work to do.
The Chiefs so far haven't lose many coaches or front office folks in the Andy Reid / John Dorsey era. This year, however, there's reported interest in Doug Pederson as a head coaching candidate and now Ballard as a potential GM.
It's generally a good thing when other teams want to hire your folks. It means you're doing something right.
