The Kansas City Chiefs have signed six players to reserve / futures contracts, which are basically offseason contracts. Here are the six:
WR Kenny Cook, DE Dominique Davis, LB Cameron Gordon, DB Jordan Kovacs, RB Trey Millard and DT Alameda Ta'amu.
You should be familiar with Cook as he was with the Chiefs last offseason. He bounced back and forth on the practice squad. He's got a lot of raw talent and physical skills but it remains to be seen whether he's an NFL caliber player.
Millard is an interesting name as he was a 2014 seventh round pick by the 49ers. You have to be a pretty good fullback to be drafted. He's from the Columbia area.
Ta'amu tweeted earlier he was joining the Chiefs. He has some demonstrated the ability to play in the league but has had a history.
The Chiefs will have 90 players on the offseason roster, which will continue to take shape as the season ends (in February!) and free agency begins in March.
