Chiefs' Mitch Morse has a concussion, Dee Ford being checked for one

Updating the Chiefs injury report for the Texans playoff game.

The Kansas City Chiefs have two players with potential concussions. C Mitch Morse left Sunday's game early with what the Chiefs said was a concussion and Andy Reid said on Monday that Dee Ford came in after the game and was being checked for a concussion.

The Chiefs can handle losing either player but it's not ideal.

Zach Fulton stepped in at center after Morse left on Sunday. Fulton started for Morse one time earlier this year and did a pretty good job. I don't have much of an issue with Fulton playing center if he has to but it would cut down on the Chiefs offensive line depth.

Meanwhile, there's Dee Ford. If both Justin Houston and Tamba Hali are playing next week against the Texans, the Chiefs won't see much change because Houston and Hali play the bulk of the snaps anyway. Ford has been replacing Houston since Week 12 so he has some experience under his belt if he does play.

Another big one is S Husain Abdullah, who has been out with a concussion for weeks. He made progress last week so we could see him return this week.
