Don't you remember hearing this talk all season about how the Denver Broncos have the best defense in the NFL? You couldn't have missed it. EVERYONE talked about how the Broncos defense was the best in the NFL.
Everyone except for, ya know, the stats that determine such things.
Offensive league? Look at the points allowed leaders...11 of the top 12 are still playing. pic.twitter.com/1i2UaznYDG

I noticed on Sunday night that the Chiefs scored more points than the Broncos (405 to 355) and allowed fewer points (287 to 296). It was just a neat stat I was passing along and didn't mean anything by it.
The Chiefs scored more points than the Broncos this season and the Chiefs defense allowed fewer points than the Broncos did.

But stating this stat caused an OUTRAGE among Broncos fans. There was a lot of anger from Broncos fans for pointing that out. You would think Broncos fans would have some confidence because they won the AFC West and were the No. 1 seed but noooope.
