NFL playoff odds 2016: Chiefs open as favorites over Texans on Wild Card weekend

The Kansas City Chiefs open as 3-point favorites over the Houston Texans, according to the 2016 NFL playoff odds. The Texans were a 1-point favorite the last time these two teams met in Week 1 but the Chiefs won that game - in Houston, by the way - by a score of 27-20. The Chiefs dominated that game early only to allow the Texans to stick around in the second half. That was also the game the Texans benched Brian Hoyer to play Ryan Mallett, one of five quarterbacks for the Texans this year.

The Chiefs being a road favorite isn't unique this year. The Steelers and Seahawks are both on the road on Wild Card weekend and they're both favorites. The Packers line in Washington is a pick'em so that could eventually be another road favorite depending on how the line swings this week.

If the Chiefs win and the Steelers win, the Chiefs would visit the Patriots in New England on divisional weekend. If the Chiefs win and the Steelers lose, the Chiefs would go to Denver to face the Broncos in the second week of the playoffs.

Here are all the Wild Card weekend odds:

Chiefs are 3 point favorites over the Texans

Steelers are 2.5 point favorites over the Bengals

Seahawks are 5 point favorites over the Vikings

Packers are a pick'em against Washington
