The Kansas City Chiefs playoff picture has become clearer now that the Jets have lost to the Bills and the Steelers and the Steelers have beaten the Browns. The Chiefs will play the Texans or Steelers.
If the Chiefs beat the Raiders AND the Broncos lose to the Chargers, the Chiefs will will win the AFC West and host the Steelers at Arrowhead on Wild Card weekend as the No. 3 seed.
If the Chiefs lose to the Raiders OR the Broncos beat the Chargers, the Chiefs will finish as the No. 5 playoff seed and visit the AFC South winning No. 4 seed Houston Texans on Wild Card weekend.
The Steelers are the type of team who could come out of the AFC and go to the Super Bowl. They're that good. They're also the type of team that can lose to the Ravens late in the season and jeopardize their playoff lives.
I have been saying that winning the AFC West and having a home playoff game is always what you play for. However, I really do not want to play the Steelers, even if it is at Arrowhead.
