The thing about calling plays is, you never really know who's doing it.
Take the 2015 Kansas City Chiefs for example. We were under the impression that Andy Reid was the main play caller while OC Doug Pederson only called some plays. Pederson was introduced as the Eagles new head coach today and told the Philly media that he was calling the second half of games for most of the season.
Pederson: He will call plays. Had been calling plays for the 2d half of Chiefs games since the Steelers game.

The Steelers game was the start of the Chiefs 11-game winning streak. So maybe Andy Reid can give up some play calling to someone else?
It didn't take long for the Philly media to ask about the looooong drive.
Philly media is the best. Introductory press conference, #Eagles coach Doug Pederson gets asked "why did that drive take so long?"

Doug Pederson says he called the plays on the Chiefs drive that took so long at end of Patriots game.

Pederson said they didn't want to leave Tom Brady that much time. Which ... well, that's one way to look at it.
