GAME TIME UPDATE: Maclin is ACTIVE for the Chiefs today.
Kansas City Chiefs' Andy Reid said that Jeremy Maclin would be a game time decision and here on gameday morning it seems like that's the case. NFL Network's Jeff Darlington reports Maclin will be in an uphill battle to play.
It will be uphill battle for Jeremy Maclin to play today, but he wants to see how ankle feels this morning. He has been resting it all week.

Sources make it clear that Maclin's ankle -- not knee -- is what continues to give him issues. He'd like to try to play, but it'll be tough.

Maclin didn't practice all week. Like we noted earlier, if this were a regular season game you could just about bank on him not playing. But it's not just a regular game.
Of note here is that it's raining at Gillette Stadium this morning. The storm is supposed to pass before kickoff but you have to wonder if the field conditions affect the decisions for KC.
UPDATE: Ominous ...
If #KCChiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (ankle) plays, he'll have overcome a lot. Walking was a struggle this week, nevermind running. Very painful.
