The Philadelphia Eagles will reportedly hire Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson as their head coach. However, the Eagles can't formally hire Pederson until after the Chiefs season ends.
The Chiefs will need to replace their offensive coordinator. We recently looked at some potential candidates and included the name Brad Childress, the former Vikings head coach who has been on the Chiefs staff as the spread game analyst (here's what he actually does).
As it turns out, Childress could be following Pederson to Philly.
Hearing Brad Childress likely as the OC for Pederson

This is just in the rumor stage at this point. The Chiefs won't be talking to the media before Saturday's game in New England so don't expect any confirmations or anything like that. Childress did have a role on the Chiefs but no one was totally sure what it was so I can't tell you how big of a loss this would be.
Andy Reid has a bunch of young folks on his offensive staff, including Matt Nagy. Reid will have his options.
I'd keep an eye on Matt Nagy, #Chiefs QB coach to replace Doug Pederson as OC. Andy's been grooming him for years. Star young coach
