I was worried for a minute that the Kansas City Chiefs OC Doug Pederson interviewing with the Philadelphia Eagles would turn into a distraction for the Chiefs this week. But it doesn't seem that's the case at all.
Pederson said last week he hadn't heard from any teams looking to interview him, just a day before the Eagles announced they were interviewing him. Pederson did interview in KC on Sunday after the Chiefs first of four playoff wins this postseason and speaking to the KC media on Wednesday he said his focus is on the Patriots.
Doug Pederson said his interview with the Eagles went great, but now he's moved on and shifted his focus to the Patriots.

The down side for someone like Pederson is that the Eagles won't hire him until after the Chiefs are done. Which means that if the Chiefs make a Super Bowl run, the Eagles will have to keep waiting until February. Think of the Chiefs hiring of Todd Haley a few years ago, which didn't officially happen until February.
