Chiefs vs. Texans: Dontari Poe, Jeff Allen practice in full for KC

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

All of a sudden, the Kansas City Chiefs are a very healthy team. After it was announced that G Paul Fanaika was placed on injured reserve, the Chiefs released their injury report where every player listed was a full participant in practice.

That includes NT Dontari Poe, who is recovering from a July 15 back surgery. If he is listed as a full participant, it seems like a very, very really possibility that he will be playing on Sunday. Which is just incredible. It was supposed to be a three month recovery but here we sit after two months and he is apparently very close to playing.

The other notable injury update is OT Jeff Allen. He is listed as a full participant as well. Andy Reid previously indicated that Allen was behind Eric Fisher in terms of recovery so I assumed he would not be playing in this game. He likely won't be playing either way because Reid has named the starting offensive line, and that does not include Allen. But apparently he has a shot at being healthy enough to play if needed.

On the Texans side of things, RB Arian Foster did not practice. He is not expected to play. Meanwhile, LB Jadeveon Clowney did practice and is expected to play.
