Former Kansas City Chiefs DE Mike Catapano has found a new home. Per a report from Aaron Wilson, Catapano is going to the New York Jets practice squad.

Interesting to see that three of the four teams in John Dorsey's former division wanted to take a look at him.
We liked how Catapano flashed in one of the Chiefs early preseason games but he didn't consistently make an impact beyond that. Chiefs coach Andy Reid indicated that he did a good job against the opposing second and third teamers but struggled against the first team.
Reid also indicated that Catapano would be a better fit for a 4-3 team as a hand-on-the-ground rusher. Here's a look at the Jets defense, which is expected to include 3-4 and 4-3 elements. The Jets head coach, Todd Bowles, did a great job on defense in Arizona so I'm thinking this is a good spot for Catapano to learn.
Our Jets blog, Gang Green Nation, is discussing the move here.
