This is one of the stronger endorsements of the Chiefs roster we've seen in some time. The No. 1 team on the waiver wire has now claimed two Chiefs players.
Kush was the Chiefs first team center throughout the offseason until the second week of camp when rookie Mitch Morse took over. Once the Chiefs played Zach Fulton at center in the preseason finale, it became clear that Kush's spot was in jeopardy. He was waived on Saturday.
Kush is a Dorsey original, getting drafted by the Chiefs two years ago.
