The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't waste any time getting to work with their No. 1 spot on the waiver wire. They have claimed LB James-Michael Johnson, who was cut by the Chiefs on Saturday.
Congratulations to @52JMJ, being claimed by the @TBBuccaneers. Time to go to work.

The Chiefs had the No. 1 spot on the waiver wire and used it to claim seven players. One of those players was JMJ, who came from the Browns. The Bucs are using that No. 1 spot to their advantage.
JMJ is a solid linebacker but the Chiefs are all of a sudden deep at inside linebacker. The versatility of Frank Zombo, who can play inside and outside and special teams, probably gave him the edge over JMJ, who was a starter last year when the Chiefs were hurting with injuries. The Chiefs kept 10 linebackers on their 53-man roster.
Good for JMJ. Glad he found a home.
I wanna thank everyone in the @chiefs organization from top to bottom for the past 2 years
