The Kansas City Chiefs roster cuts have begun. Though the Chiefs have not made anything official and likely won't until this afternoon, Aaron Wilson reports that the Chiefs have released OL Garrett Frye.

Herbie Teope of Chiefs Digest is also reporting this news. This doesn't qualify as a surprise, although the Chiefs prefer versatile lineman like Frye who can play more than one position.
The Chiefs are - and this seems odd to say but it's true - somewhat deep on the offensive line. They are not the best line by any means but their top 8-9 linemen would be ranked pretty well around the league. Unfortunately you're not playing nine linemen at once.
More Chiefs cuts will be coming before 3 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) this afternoon. The Chiefs will also be creating a 10-man practice squad on Sunday which will be made up of many of the players cut today.
