Six out of 13 NFLN experts pick the Kansas City Chiefs over the Denver Broncos in the AFC West

Six out of 13 isn't bad. The only problem is the Broncos are picked by the seven other experts.

NFL Network had a panel of 13 of their experts to predict the AFC playoff race. According to six of them, the Kansas City Chiefs will top the Denver Broncos in the AFC West.

The problem here is that the other seven pick the Broncos to win the division

I'm impressed that many people picked the Chiefs to be honest. The Chiefs still haven't beaten the Broncos since Peyton Manning came to town three years ago. Manning has lost one regular season game against the AFC West in the last three years. They own the division.

It's fair to wonder though if that reign is coming to an end. Manning is another year older. The Chiefs seem to be getting better. The gap appears to be closing ... we'll just have to see how it actually plays out.

Here are the NFL Network Six who dare to pick the Chiefs in the AFC West. (Note Steve Wyche's quote in their piece wondering why the Chiefs aren't mentioned as Super Bowl contenders.)

Jeffri Chadiha: Chiefs
