For the first time since Week 17 of the 2013 season, a Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver has caught a touchdown pass. It's the stat that seemingly wouldn't die but it finally has.
Touchdown, Jeremy Maclin! #MizzouMade https://t.co/L6M1UbVjte

After catching a 31-yard pass on third and 17, Jeremy Maclin made another catch that got him in the end zone from five yards out. This was THE stat about the Chiefs over the last year so I am glad it's over.
Many people out there will be saying that Dwayne Bow was the last Chiefs wide receiver to catch a touchdown in Week 14 of the 2013 season. It was actually Dexter McCluster who was a receiver. Not sure why the national media is getting that wrong.
Here's the list of touchdown passes since the Chiefs last caught one. (Note: not counting Aaron Rodgers four touchdown passes tonight):
#Chiefs have ZERO of the 666 WR TD passes thrown since Week 15, 2013. https://t.co/RSK8o87qt6 @ArrowheadPride pic.twitter.com/VybRnTxKS1

Now we can NEVER TALK ABOUT THIS STAT AGAIN.
