The Green Bay Packers are nearly a touchdown favorite against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football but that doesn't mean the game will be a blowout. Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is fantastic at what he does and he wrote this preview, which I highly recommend.
In that preview, he asks two assistant NFL coaches as well as an AFC executive to predict the score of the game. Their responses were:
- 30-27
- 28-24
- 31-24
So there are some smart people who think this will be a good game. The Chiefs do have the components of a team who can give the Packers trouble. Their pass rush is outstanding and allows the Chiefs to have more players in coverage. Their secondary has also been very good outside of that final drive against Denver. Marcus Peters has two interceptions and this is one of those games where the Chiefs will need another one from Peters or someone else.
It's tough to predict the Chiefs to win (although plenty of us on here will) but they do have the type of team that can make this a game.
While we're here, drop your prediction in.
