We will complain about Kansas City Chiefs CB Jamell Fleming. We will probably complain about Marcus Peters and Phillip Gaines and Sean Smith, too. But just remember: none of those players has a six-year, $64 million contract.
Before complaining about the Chiefs secondary, read this about the Eagles:
#Eagles CB Byron Maxwell (6-yr, $64m contract offseason) has been thrown at 19x, allowed 15 comp, 240 yds, 2 TD, 158.3 (perfect) QB rating

So when thrown at, Maxwell is turning the average quarterback into Aaron Rodgers and then some. Peyton Manning completed 9-of-13 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown when throwing at Fleming last week. Certainly not good but what did you expect out of a team's fourth cornerback? Maxwell, on the other hand, is supposed to be the Eagles top cornerback.
I can not imagine the rage that would be pulsating through the Chiefs kingdom if they had a $60+ million player performing poorly. Good thing they've never done that before!
