We noted yesterday that the Kansas City Chiefs could've caught a break if Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy wouldn't be playing on Monday night due to an ankle injury. As it turns out, Lacy has a shot to play, according to ESPN.
With X-rays on his sprained ankle coming back negative, Packers' RB Eddie Lacy now hoping to play next Monday night vs Chiefs.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy indicated that they'll learn more on Thursday when practice starts. "We'll see how he moves Thursday," McCarthy said, via Acme Packing Company. "Anytime you have ankle injuries, you won't know more until you seen them on the field."
Whether it's Lacy or James Starks, the key to the game remains Aaron Rodgers. They can win whether they stop the Packers running game or not; they can't win if Rodgers goes off.
