You never want to see a good player like Eddie Lacy injured but he was on Sunday in the Packers victory over the Seahawks. It's an ankle injury and there's no good idea on when he will return.
Good news on EDDIE LACY @packers X-rays negative Low ankle sprain by video Hoping for 1-3 wks depending on swelling https://t.co/p36x5oWMBu

This is all still early so no one is saying definitively that he is out for the Chiefs-Packers game on Monday night but it would appear there's a chance that's the case.
The absence of Lacy would be significant for the Chiefs because they wouldn't have to worry about the running game as much without Lacy. It will still be a concern - James Starks had 20 carries for 95 yards in relief - but I'd rather face Starks than Lacy. That would give the Chiefs the chance to focus more on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers passing game, which is incredible at home.
