After the KC Chiefs Week 1 game vs. the Houston Texans I flipped the channel and saw the Bengals were embarrassing the Raiders, 30-0. Cincinnati ended up winning, 33-13. I thought to myself, wasn't this the year the Raiders were supposed to be good?
Perhaps they just needed another week to get it together because the Raiders beat the Ravens on Sunday, 37-33. AND the Raiders did it by driving down the field and scoring a last minute touchdown. The Raiders are 1-1 while the Ravens are 0-2; nothing makes sense anymore.
The Chiefs lost as you know and the Broncos won as you know. The Chargers lost to the Bengals. That means Denver leads the division and everyone else is tied for second.
1. Denver Broncos (2-0)
2. Kansas City Chiefs (1-1)
3. San Diego Chargers (1-1)
4. Oakland Raiders (1-1)
All four AFC West teams are on the road in Week 3. The Raiders visit the Browns, the Chargers visit the Vikings and the Broncos play the Lions on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are playing on Monday Night Football next Monday against the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field.
