There were a few Kansas City Chiefs folks taking the blame for last night's 31-24 loss to the Denver Broncos. There's Andy Reid and his play calling. Jamaal Charles and his fumbles. Alex Smith and his interceptions. Jamell Fleming and his receptions given up. There's blame to go around.
Here's how the Internet reacted to each of them.
Andy Reid
Players need to execute but boy Andy Reid can either be really good or down right dreadful. Tonight he was TERRIBLE.

I'm done tonight. May say something I regret. Andy Reid is almost as bad as Gunther Cunningham IN GAME. What a mess.

Andy Reid hoping for a comeback in the 3rd half...
— Eric Stangel (@EricStangel) September 18, 2015
So this is the Andy Reid Experience that everyone warned us about, huh.
— Rany Jazayerli (@jazayerli) September 18, 2015
you guys ask andy reid to run the football and he does it for you and this is how you thank him
— Bill Barnwell (@billbarnwell) September 18, 2015
"Hi I’m Andy Reid and I coach football." "Hi I’m cable Andy Reid and it’s under two minutes."
— Will Brinson (@WillBrinson) September 18, 2015
Textbook Andy Reid - wasting momentum with the terrible trick play that loses 3 yards followed by the wasted timeout. What year is this?
— Bill Simmons (@BillSimmons) September 18, 2015
"I love the way Andy Reid managed the clock there." --Tom Coughlin

Jamaal Charles
Jamaal Charles shown bashing his helmet in frustration. Phil Simms: "At least he held onto the helmet" Ouch.
— Rich Eisen (@richeisen) September 18, 2015
There's still 20 seconds left, enough time for Jamaal Charles to fumble one more time
— Project 806 (@Project806) September 18, 2015
I will never have anything bad to say about Jamaal Charles #Chiefs
— Steven Spector (@StevenSpector10) September 18, 2015
Jamaal Charles messed up too. Both fumbles are inexcusable, and maybe #Chiefs fans are overreacting because Jamaal doesn't make those plays.

We good @jcharles25 8 hours was enough. Bounce back next week at Lambeau #CantWait #ChiefsKingdom

Jamell Fleming
Quick look to the sideline to check on Jamell Fleming. pic.twitter.com/L4mbAa3Epm

The traffic leaving Arrowhead is Jamel Fleming bad.
— Danny Parkins (@DannyParkins) September 18, 2015
Jamell Fleming was still on the field, that's not on Fleming, that's on Reid/Sutton. Put literally any other DB in there.
— TJ Carpenter (@TJCarpenterWHB) September 18, 2015
Jamell Fleming. Again and again and again...
— Kurtis Seaboldt (@KSeaboldt) September 18, 2015
Jamell Fleming hates interceptions, I guess.
— Jess Root (@senorjessroot) September 18, 2015
Manning's progression at this point should just be 1. WR covered by Jamell Fleming 2. Checkdown That's it

Alex Smith
Alex Smith led a game winning drive tonight. It's just that there happened to be 1:30 left, but people won't see it that way.
— Johnny Coltrane (@Chief_Wildcat) September 18, 2015
Alex Smith has led his offense to more than 17 points one time in 7 career starts vs. a Peyton Manning team. That won't work.
— Scott Kacsmar (@FO_ScottKacsmar) September 18, 2015
Peyton Manning is now tied with Alex Smith with TD passes thrown at Arrowhead (23). Smith: 18 games Manning: 8
— Clay Wendler (@ClayWendler) September 18, 2015
This is the 1st time Alex Smith has thrown multiple Int in a game since Week 1 of 2014 against Titans. pic.twitter.com/GlDOwB9Ap1

Alex Smith with a nice Les Miles to end the game.
— Patrick Daugherty (@RotoPat) September 18, 2015
Alex Smith is Jay Cutler after he goes to one of those troubled teen boot camps on Maury.
— Ryan Nanni (@celebrityhottub) September 18, 2015
What did Alex Smith just do? That throw was so late and The corner was sitting on the route! He has to see that.
— Michael Irvin (@michaelirvin88) September 18, 2015
What instincts by Aqib Talib. Great break on the ball. Also: Alex Smith is terrible
