Clark Hunt was asked a a great question about the Chiefs trip to London

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

It's no secret that plenty of fans aren't happy about the Kansas City Chiefs losing a home game to play the Detroit Lions in London. With that in mind, I imagine those of you who fall in that category can appreciate this question that was posed to Clark Hunt today (quote via the Chiefs, question from Terez Paylor):

What happens if you guys go to London and lose, and that ends up being the game to keep you from the playoffs?

That's pretty much the nightmare scenario. If the Chiefs lose in London and then don't make the playoffs, there will be a lot of folks who point to that game as the problem.

Anyway, here's how Clark responded to the question:

"First of all, that scenario is not going to play out, but if we lose that game, I'm going to feel like I do every week whether we lose at home or whether we lose on the road, which is I'm going to feel miserable for the week until we get a chance to play again."

The over / under on the Chiefs this year is 8.5. You can bet that game will matter.
