Kansas City Chiefs cut the player who tweeted at them last week

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It was a great story while it lasted but the Kansas City Chiefs have cut RB LaVance Taylor, who was the free agent that tweeted the Chiefs and then got signed the next day.

Taylor was a nice local story but he was always a long shot. Based on the release of Cyrus Gray, the Chiefs seem to like Charcandrick West. He's the one someone would have to beat out, which is a tough task for someone just coming into the program.

On the new player, Darrin Reaves, Rotoworld has this interesting note: The Chiefs are a team that utilizes SPARQ scores to make decisions at the bottom of their roster. Reaves has a better SPARQ score than Taylor.
