The Chiefs first team offense will get a quarter against the Cardinals. This is a tough, tough defense that was fifth in points allowed last year. The Chiefs offense has been going up against their own very good defense for a while now so it will be useful to get a peek at another defense, especially one as good as the Cardinals.
Offenses are generally behind defenses at this time of year so my prediction for the Chiefs first team offense is ... not much. If they get two possessions, I think they get a field goal out of it. I just think it's too early to think the Chiefs offense can run down the field against one of the NFL's best defenses and score touchdowns.
