This might be why the Kansas City Chiefs released Da'Rick Rogers

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs released WR Da'Rick Rogers during the middle of the offseason and it was said at the time that they did so because of the emergence of Chris Conley. That may be true but this also probably affected it:

Rogers went to college at Tennessee but was suspended and eventually transferred. He came into the league as an undrafted free agent with a little bit of hype but hasn't caught on anywhere.
