The Kansas City Chiefs released WR Da'Rick Rogers during the middle of the offseason and it was said at the time that they did so because of the emergence of Chris Conley. That may be true but this also probably affected it:
Free agent WR Da'rick Rogers was suspended the first two weeks of the season, source said. Explains why he’s a free agent still.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) August 13, 2015
This comes from a DUI Rogers got last year. It also helps explain why the Chiefs released him.
Rogers went to college at Tennessee but was suspended and eventually transferred. He came into the league as an undrafted free agent with a little bit of hype but hasn't caught on anywhere.
