Greetings, fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and welcome to our first nuts and bolts post on the NFL's preseason schedule. The Chiefs will visit the Cardinals in Arizona for their first preseason game on Saturday night.

The Chiefs and Cardinals played year which was won by the Cardinals. Controversially, I might add. Travis Kelce (supposedly) fumbled which led to helping the Cardinals secure the game. Questionable call.

I'll always remember that Cardinals game because of their coach, Bruce Arians, who wore a "Berry Strong" shirt. This game came days after Berry was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. Arians is the former Colts assistant who took over after Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with cancer. Just this week Arians said of Berry: "I'm so happy for him & can't wait to grab him before the game and tell him all the best and good luck."

Andy Reid said the plan for playing time is for the starters to play the first quarter, the second team to play into the third quarter and the third team to finish it up.
