Andy Reid was asked who the Chiefs breakout player will be

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid visited Jay Glazer's traveling training camp bus on Wednesday. You can see the video of Reid and Glazer talking here.

The first thing to know from the video is that Andy Reid (rightfully) gave Glazer a hard time for talking about eating turkey bacon. "Go with the pig," Reid said.

The second thing to know is this exchange when Glazer asked for Reid's breakout player.

Glazer: Don't give me the vanilla coach speak ... Give me your one guy, that's the guy who you guys don't realize but we expect him to break out.

Reid: "The one that always gets pounded on is (Eric Fisher). He was the No. 1 pick. People don't realize there is a maturation process with offensive linemen, especially coming from a smaller school. A lot of people take that guy and move him inside and play him at guard to let him get used to the speed of the game. We never did that. We put him out there and said, listen, we need you out here. We know there will be a growing process. We're just asking you to come to work every day, work your tail off. He did that and did that and now he's having a better camp. I think people will see that when it's all said and done."
