Free agent RB tweets his highlights to the Kansas City Chiefs, who then sign him

This is a neat story of a local kid making the Kansas City Chiefs.

Central Missouri RB LaVance Taylor inked a deal on Thursday with the Chiefs, who had an open roster spot. Taylor is a local kid having played at Raytown High where the KC Star's Terez Paylor covered him. Taylor's signing was urgent because the Chiefs only available running back at this pre-camp period with the rookies and quarterbacks went down with an injury. The Chiefs needed a back for Friday's practice and they needed one quickly. I'll be curious to see how things go for Taylor moving forward.

The really interesting part of this whole situation is that Taylor apparently tweeted his highlights to the Chiefs on Wednesday.

And then the Chiefs signed him on Thursday.

Which means we now have a new method for getting what we want: Just tweet about it!
