This is how Tamba Hali trains for the Kansas City Chiefs season

Tamba Hali has been training at the Gracie Academy since his second offseason in the NFL and he's talked before about how it helps him as a pass rusher. Take note of Tamba's hand work and technique in the video above when wondering how it helps him in the NFL. Before each game he works himself into a sweat by practicing his hand technique, which looks very similar to what he's doing at the Gracie Academy.

Speaking of the Gracie Academy, they just dropped a 15-minute video of Tamba and one of the instructors sparring.

"Each summer I come out and intensively do classes with you and a couple of other instructors and black belts," Tamba says in the video. "It's only helped my game over time."

It looks like a deceptively exhausting workout as you can tell at the end that Tamba is beat. This is possibly Tamba's last NFL season and he's not mailing it in even though that may be tempting. He said he has been going to the Gracie Academy since 2007.

Also of note in the video is Josh Martin, the Chiefs third year outside linebacker who was also there. He said this is his second year going there. Very interesting!

I knew this picture looked familiar...
