Chiefs HC Andy Reid Ranks in Top Ten of NFL's Coach Power Rankings from The Mothership

2013, Reid's first year with the Chiefs, marked the biggest turnaround in the franchise's history, as Reid helped improve the team from a 2-14 regular season record in 2012 to 11-5 in 2013.

10 Ways the Chiefs Used De'Anthony Thomas in 2014 from The Mothership

After the Kansas City Chiefs selected former Oregon playmaker De'Anthony Thomas in the fourth round of the 2013 draft (No. 124 overall), fans knew they were in for a few special moments during his rookie season.

He was a human highlight reel all throughout college, totaling 45 touchdowns in his three seasons at Oregon (2011-13).

Whether he was returning kicks, running the ball out of the backfield or catching passes out in space, Thomas just needed the ball in his hands and he'd find a way to make something happen.

So that was the plan once he arrived in Kansas City.

Gridiron Glory at Union Station: "Jan Stenerud's 1970 AFL All-Star Jersey" from The Mothership

Any collection of professional football artifacts is going to include player jerseys, plenty of them. But only a few can be called truly unique, or important, because they mark a seminal moment in history. Certainly the early jerseys from a time when the game was played in a rough-house style that is outlawed today convey how primitive football was once in its attention to design - a far cry from today's snappy graphics and color combinations.

Located in the case in the Chiefs section of the Gridiron Glory exhibit at Union Station is kicker Jan Stenerud's post-season AFL All-Star jersey, truly one of a kind. Played January 17, 1970, it represents the last organized game of the American Football League. Ironically, it was played at Houston's Astrodome - at the time considered one of the true wonders of the stadium world.

4. Jeremy Maclin, Kansas City Chiefs - Week 1 (Home) - The Texans also saw Maclin last year as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, they saw his name on the back of his jersey, as he had six catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns.

Key Stat: Maclin had his first 1,000 yard season last year, which led to him signing a huge free agent deal in Kansas City.

Ex-Wildwood football star at forefront of concussion-reducing helmet technology from Philly Voice

Marver has over 20 years of experience in the medical technology industry. Osborn is a football lifer, who starred at Wildwood High in the early 1980s, then at Pitt, before playing briefly in NFL Europe and arena leagues and served a few years as a scout for the Kansas City Chiefs. He has a deep medical sales background himself, having worked closely with Marver when the two were together at Medtronic, one of the world's leading medical technology and service companies. When Marver came up with the idea to build a new helmet, he thought immediately about getting Osborn on board.

Three former/current Eagles land on NFL.com's 'most likely to disappoint' list from Philly Voice

#JimmySays: Agree. Maclin had a breakout year in 2014, but he's not touching the numbers that the Eagles' spread offense helped him generate, especially with Alex Smith throwing him the ball.
