Take a look at this list of the NFL's top selling jerseys and tell me what sticks out:
According to NFL sales, the five top-selling jerseys are: 1) Green Bay; 2) Pittsburgh; 3) Oakland; 4) Dallas; 5) Kansas City.

Obviously, the Kansas City Chiefs being on the list sticks out -- even if they do sometimes go with the "blood-clot look" with the red on red. Jamaal Charles was 28th on the list for the end of the 2014 season. I imagine the Chiefs acquisition of Jeremy Maclin, which requires a shiny new red jersey for him, is part of the reason the Chiefs are so high. Charles, Travis Kelce, Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali and Justin Houston are all great jersey options.
The other one that stands out is the Oakland Raiders. The others -- Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys -- make sense because they're big brands and they often win games. The Raiders do have a good sized fan base even if the team has been terrible in the last decade-plus. I'm still surprised to see them here.
