The Kansas City sports scene has two players from Brazil who work only a few hundred yards from each other. There's Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos and Royals outfielder Paulo Orlando and they met on Wednesday at Kauffman Stadium.

Both players obviously have great stories since they came from Brazil to play in the big leagues. Santos is the first Brazilian-born NFL player to appear in a regular season game while Orlando, who spent nearly a decade in the minor leagues before this year, is the third Brazilian born baseball player.
BJ Kissel of KCChiefs.com has a story on the meeting here with quotes as does the KC Star.
