Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints complete their swap of guards

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints have completed their swap of guards.

Back in March the Chiefs traded a fifth round pick to the Saints for guard Ben Grubbs. Now the Saints have completed the swap by signing former Chiefs guard Mike McGlynn.

McGlynn struggled mightily at guard for the Chiefs last season but you could've expected that given he was still available a week before the season. That's a tough spot for both sides. The Chiefs had early offensive line issues when Jeff Allen went down for the season and Donald Stephenson was suspended for the first four games.

I would say the Chiefs likely got the better end of this deal.
